Loimolan Voima yhtye esiintyy Kuhmo-talon Pajakka-salissa perjantaina 9.12.2022 klo 18.

Yhtye tekee ja esittää uutta karjalankielistä folkmusiikkia. Yhtyeen juuret ylettyvät syvälle Raja-Karjalaan ja sen muodostavat Lieksassa varttuneet, suistamolaiset juuret omaavat veljekset Mika Saatsi ja Niko Saatsi

.

Liput konserttiin 10 euroa.

Konsertin järjestäjänä toimii Runolaulu-Akatemia joka on myös Musiikkijuhla Sommelon yhteistyökumppani.

Loimolan Voima music group will be performing at Kuhmo Arts Centres Pajakka Hall on Friday, December 9th, 2022 at 6 p.m. Runosong Academy, one of the partners of Sommelo Ethno Music Festival, will arrage the mentioned concert.  

Ticket price is 10 euros.

 

Loimolan Voima group writes and performs new karelian folkmusic. Group consist brothers Mika and Niko Saatsi who have grown up in Lieksa but their roots go back to Suistamo which back in the days was part of Karelia.

Konserttimatka Vuokkiniemeen / Concert trip to Vuokkiniemi

Kesän 2017 Sommelo konserttimatka suuntaa suomalais-ugrilaisen maailman kulttuuripääkaupunkiin Vuokkiniemeen.

Sommelo Ethno Music Festival concert trip heads to Vuokkiniemi, 

Finno-Ugric Capital of Culture 2017. 

Trip schedule:

Sunday, July 2nd, 2017

- Leaving from Kuhmo Arts Centre at 6 a.m. and from Hotel Kalevala at 6.10 a.m.

- Crossing border at 7 - 8 a.m.

- Arriving to Vuokkiniemi at 10 a.m.

- Lunch 10.30 - 11.30 a.m.

- Accommodation 12 noon - 1 p.m.

- Concert in Ontsi's House at 2 p.m.

- Dinner 4.30 p.m. - 5.30 p.m.

- Concert in Vuokkiniemi School at 6 p.m.

- Concert in Vuokkiniemi house at 9 p.m.

- Evening bonfire starting at 11 p.m. in LIetosaari

Sommelo 2017 avajaiskonsertti Hossassa / Sommelo 2017 opening concert at Hossa National Park

Sommelo opening concert will be held at Hossa National Park on Wednesday June 28th, 2017. Public transportation from Kuhmo and Suomussalmi to concert venue will be arranged. Concert will be part of Finland 100 year cebration as well as part of Kuulkaa korpeimme kuiskintaa program. Kuulkaa korpeimme kuiskintaa program is produced in co-operation by Sommelo Ethno Music Festival, Kajaani Poetry Week and Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival.

Kantele seminar will be held on Thursday June 29th, 2017 as part of Kantele Association 40 year celebration and on the very same evening the main concert Pohjolan Pauhu featuring Pauliina Syrjälä and seven other kantele players. Summer 2017 Sommelo program also includes cabaret and much more.

For childrens Sommelo program features concert titled Magic Violin.

Viena Karelia part of Sommelo will take place on July 1st and July 2nd, 2017 in village of Vuokkiniemi. Vuokkiniemi was chosen Finno-Ugric Capital of Culture 2017. Viena Karelian program will include performances from finnish and viena karelian groups. 

Tourist trip from Finland to Viena Karelian part of Sommelo will be arranged and details about this will be published on Sommelo homepage as soon as it will be available.

Courses include both old and familiar like Näppäri course, Runo song course, International Kantele camp as well as some new courses like work shop with MeNaiset group. Course students will have free admission to concerts.

Värttinä konsertti Kajaanissa ma 6.2.2017 / Värttinä concert in Kajaani

Värttinä esintyy Kajaanin Kaukametsässä maanantaina 6.2. klo 19. Konsertin aikana taustalla nähdään kuvaaja Lassi Rautiaisen luontokuvia. Konsertti on esitetty aiemmin Kuusamossa syksyllä 2016.

Rautiainen toteutti Kuusamon Nature Photo 2010 kuvituksen euroviisuedustaja Kuunkuiskaajien Susan Aho ja Johanna Virtasen lauluihin ja syksyn 2016 Nature Photo tapahtumassa Värttinä esiintyi kuusihenkisellä kokoonpano solisteinaan Susan Aho, Mari Kaasinen ja Karoliina Kantelinen. 

Ennen konserttia yleisöllä on mahdollisuus tutustua Barbara Rautiaisen ja Lassi Rautiaisen uuteen Kainuusta kertovaan kuvateokseen Villiä Elämää - Wild Life Kainuu.

Värttinä will perform in Kaukametsä conference center Kajaani on monday february 6th at 7 p.m. Concert will feature nature pictures taken by Lassi Rautiainen from Viena Karelia and eastern border of Finland. Concert has been held once before in autumn of 2016 in Kuusamo.

During Kuusamo Nature Photo 2010 event Lassi Rautiainen did the illustration for songs performed by Susan Aho and Johanna Virtanen also known as Kuunkuiskaajat. Värttinä had a performance in Nature Photo event in autumn of 2016 with Susan Aho, Mari Kaasinen and Karoliina Kantelinen doing vocals.

Before the concert audience has a possibilty to see Barbara Rautainen and Lassi Rautiainen new Wild Life Kainuu artwork.
